Overview
Interior Excellence LLC has recently adopted the Creative Commons license as its site-wide standard with regards to the photos, literature, and media that are published weekly on their New Jersey basement remodeling blog. They've taken these steps in order to help facilitate the ability of our work to reach our clients and end users. By allowing the public the ability to republish our content with attribution it is our hopes we can reach a wider audience and increase the quality of our work.
License Usage
'After redesigning their website and condensing their portfolio and content for web formats, Interior Excellence licensed their work under the BY CC-NC-SA license. This allows the public to share their content as long as proper attribution is made.
Motivations
Creative Commons licensing was first brought up during the initial stages of planning Interior Excellence's new web presence. It was decided that enabling and promoting the spread of their design work is only beneficial to their business.
Impact
Interior Excellence has had an increase in the amount of traffic, and the amount of other sites that now share and attribute Interior Excellence as a source of quality design work and content.
