MozCC is currently not internationalized, and we are working to correct that situation. A goal for MozCC 2.6 is complete i18n support. To accomplish this we will need to do the following:
- Create .property and .dtd files to store translated strings
- Extract existing strings from the source code
- Provide tools to manage translations. In particular we need to be able to move between gettext format (used to translate CC tools) and the Mozilla format with minimal effort.
As work progresses a call for translators will be announced. The call will be posted in the following places:
- this page
- the cc-devel mailing list
- the cctools-i18n mailing list
- the cc-icommons mailing list
