S. Dedieu aka Skyelektra is a music performer (pianist, percussionist, singer) sound engineer and music composer. In the early 90's, after 15 years of classical music and piano studies, she starts to perform as the Keyboardist and the Lead-Singer of "Les Meduses" -a well known French Punk Psychedelic Band- and as backup Keyboardist and Leadvocalist for other Bands including "Les Shifters", "Aznia bout' bout' Yaparem".. which gives her the opportunity to play in diverse international Venues such as "Le Bikini" -Toulouse-, "Le New Morning" -Paris-, "CBGB's" -NYC-, "Heaven and Hell" -Washington DC-.. In 1996 she joins Planet Generation Global Move "PG2M" -one of the first French musical Tribes- thus beginning her long carrier in electronic music as a sound engineer and musician participating in Live Performances in Clubs, Festivals, Free Parties, and Live Streaming Concerts (Shanti festival -Tokyo-, Klub Cube -Tokyo-, Main d'Oeuvres -Paris-, Le Nouveau Casino -Paris-, Teknival de Milhau ..). During this time Skyelektra worked on collaborative projects with such Artists as Mafucage, Dr Floy aka Floy Krouchi, LMF, 69Db, Mc Jamalski, Gnawi, Japanese, Tahitian, Haitian traditional artists, Samia Yayaoui (Lead Singer of La Raya), Dj De Mental, Dj R-One etc.. (cf: CDs/LPs/DVD released PG2M/La Manne, PG2M/Sony Music: "Hyper Eros", "Rastafari", "El Nino", "No Fashion"... ) In 1999 she relocates to the Bay Area and works for various San Fransisco Reggae Artists as Backup Keyboardist: "Sister I live", "Donny rasta & Roots vibrations", "Ishmael & the Peacemakers", and for several RnB Artists on the Dover Soul Production Label. In 2001, Skyelektra returns to the French music scene as Backup-Keyboardist for Moonlight -a Haitian traditional singer- played West African Drums (Dunduns) with Fode Diame (Djembé Player for the French Band Curcuma) and collaborates with Heneskah Nyo.be (a French Musician & Singer) for several Projects including a Downtempo [Experimental & Concrete] Live-Act "Vues" by Sorchki-Mafostone [CD & DVD released/Video by Harper Carter] In 2006 Skyelektra founds her label Music4VIP [music4vip@yahoo.com] and produces her first solo album "Bypass Op.." on which feature the Artists: Dj Prisce (remixer), MC lopossumdeviant (MC guest on "Violin Contest"), Jihane La_Pache (violins + rythmic Rock-Loop on "Violin Contest") and of which 2 tracks will appear on a 12' Vinyl released by Marasm Records [French label] -11/05/07-

"Bypass Op.." is part of a Live-Act "Solid-air 4 Od's Feelings" of approx. 1h30 mn of music. "Opus for a Muse and a Friend" is composed of 13 original tracks inspired in part by West African Musical Pieces and 80's Electro Minimalists

S. Dedieu aka Skyelektra est une artiste confirmée de la Scène Electronique Française (pianiste, percussioniste, chanteuse) ingénieur du son et compositrice. Aux début des années 90, et aprés quinze ans d'études classiques de piano et solfège, elle commence son parcours musical comme Clavier et Chanteuse Lead du groupe punk-psychédélique "Les Meduses" ainsi qu'avec de nombreux groupes de la scène rock alternative Toulousaine comme entre autres "Les Shifters", "Aznia bout' bout' Yaparem" dans divers Clubs et Festivals internationaux : "Le Bikini" -Toulouse-, "Le New Morning" -Paris- , "Main d' Oeuvres" -Paris- "CBGB's" -NYC-, "Heaven and Hell" -Washington DC-.. En 1996 elle rejoint Planet Generation Global Move ("PG2M") l'un des premiers collectifs de musiques électroniques en France, comme ingénieur du son et musicienne performant à l'occasion d 'évènements électroniques nationaux et internationaux ("Klub Cube" -Tokyo-, "Shanti Festival" -Tokyo-, "Main d'Oeuvres" -Paris-, "Le Nouveau Casino" -Paris-, "Technival de Milhau" ..) en collaborant avec de nombreux Artistes tels que Mafucage, Dr Floy aka Floy Krouchi, LMF, 69Db, Mc Jamalski, Gnawi, Japonais, Tahitiens, Haitien Artistes de Musiques Traditionnelles, Samia Yayaoui (Chanteuse Lead de "La Raya"), Dj De Mental, Dj R-One etc.. (cf: CDs/LPs/DVD released PG2M/La Manne, PG2M/Sony Music: "Hyper Eros", "Rastafari", "El Nino", "No Fashion"... ) En 1999 elle change de continent pour la Bay Area and performe ces 3 années comme Backup-Keyboardist pour des Artistes de la Scène Reggae Californienne "Sister I live", "Donny rasta & Roots vibrations", "Ishmael & the Peacemakers", et divers Chanteurs et Musiciens de R'n'B avec le label Dover Soul Production. En 2002, elle regagne la scène française et collabore avec Moonlight, Chanteuse Tradionnelle Haitienne et Fode Diame (Djembéiste du groupe Toulousain "Curcuma"). Sa rencontre déterminante avec Heneskah Nyo.be, Artiste Française (Musicienne et Chanteuse), l' amene à travailler sur différents projets dont un Live-Act Downtempo [Experimental & Concret] "Vues" par Sorchi-Mafostone [CD/DVD released/Video par Harper Carter]. En 2006 Skyelektra fonde le label Music4VIP [music4vip@yahoo.com] en enregistrant son premier CD 4 titres "Bypass Op.." en collaboration avec Dj Prisce (remixer), MC lopossumdeviant (MC guest sur "Violin Contest"), et Jihane La_Pache (violins + rythm rock-loop on "Violin Contest")

"Bypass Op.." est extrait d' un live-act "Solid-air 4 Od's Feelings" d' environ 1h30 mn de musique. "Opus for a Muse and a Friend" est une pièce composée de 13 tracks originales qui relate sa rencontre déterminante avec une Muse et une Amie (Heneskah Nyo.be et son univers) s'accompagnant de Polyrythmies Traditionnelles Ouest Africaines et de sons minimals synthétiques aux couleurs des années 80.
