Creative Commons was born December 2002, and to celebrate we're inviting the CC Community worldwide to join the party!
"Khichdiz, Mixtures of Various Kinds," is the fifth birthday bash of the Creative Commons effort at CEMA (center for Experimental Media Arts) at Srishti School of Art, Design and Technology on 16th December, 2007 at 6:00 p.m.

To celebrate the birthday of the Creative Commons effort (www.creativecommons.org), synchronized parties are happening around the world (http://wiki.creativecommons.org/Birthday_party). This party is being organized by Creative Commons India and CEMA.

Raw, fresh and boiled ingredients of various kinds (fruits, vegetables, cereal, spices) which you can mix and eat as you please. And of course, there will be enough alcohol for all of us.

All guests will share something which they have created under a creative commons license. There will be a comp and an Internet connection at the party venue. Guests can bring their work on a CD, DVD or USB disk and upload it to the special website prepared for the ocassion. At the party there will be an open mic, projector and a tool for sending a SMS to all the guests at the party.
Work can be in any form: poetry, stories, photographs, sketches, songs, animation, video clips, 3d models etc.
All this work will be deposited in an appropriate archives on the web so that anyone else can use it under the defined conditions and build-upon it, extend it etc.
