More about Creative Commons Netherlands

Creative Commons Netherlands (CC-NL) is a joint venture between Knowledgeland, Waag Society and the Institute for Information Law (IViR) in cooperation with Creative Commons International, a not-for-profit organization, founded in 2001, that promotes the creative re-use of intellectual and artistic works.

Creative Commons Netherlands has been working on promoting and supporting the use of Creative Commons Licenses in the Netherlands since 2004. Our activities include workshops, presentations, on and offline support as well as academic research into legal questions raised by the use of the Creative Commons Licenses. An English translation of the 2005-07 working programme can be downloaded from our website.

Creative Commons Netherlands is supported by the Dutch Ministry for Education, Culture and Science.
