CC Salon Iceland
What is the future of art and artists in an endless stream of creativity?
The CC Salon will open a discussion about how art and creativity has changed and will change as technology opens up the participation of everyone. How can artists expect to make a living when the market and the competition is continuously growing? How are artists supposed to get noticed when 86400 hours of content are uploaded each day, to YouTube alone? What effects does it have on creativity and copyright when everyone can create and distribute the works online?
Presenters at the salon are Kristín Atladóttir, Ph.D. student in cultural economics at the University of Iceland, and Ólafur Arnalds, musician (Wikipedia page: .https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/%C3%93lafur_Arnalds)
