How to publish on Internet Archive

You can quickly and easily publish your audio files to the Internet Archive by visiting http://www.archive.org/create/, which includes a license selection step. Archive.org implements the CC license chooser through the Partner Interface.

During the file upload process you are given this option:

Clicking either one of those options opens up a window to creativecommons.org in which you can select a CC license or dedicate your upload to the public domain using CC0.

How to use CC Publisher

For large files (>500MB), you may wish to use our CC Publisher application. CC Publisher is a tool that does two things: it will help you tag your files with information about your license and it allows you to upload Creative Commons-licensed audio and video works to the Internet Archive for free hosting.

CC Publisher is available for Windows, Mac OS X and Linux operating systems. Download links, installation instructions, and detailed instructions how to add files to the Internet Archive using CC Publisher can be found on the CC Publisher page.
