Hitchwiki is a collaborative website for gathering information about hitchhiking and other ways of extremely cheap ways of transport. It is maintained by many active all around the world. We have information about how to hitch out of big cities, how to cover long distances, maps and many more tips.
Hitchwiki is one of very unique projects, that give me a true feeling of equality, openness and collaboration. She is based on well understood self-management. Gives space for contributions, is open for all kinds of ideas and provides a good structure. Good structure is one that allows organising thinking, is easily accessible/understandable, facilitate changes and development, yet impose no limits. — Mirto
