London Sound Survey is a collaborative online collection of field recordings made in and around London. They cover different aspects of life in the city, including places, people, events, wildlife and everyday activities, and are organised into sound action categories, sound maps and London wildlife recordings. Also, a history of London sounds is included in the form of a database of descriptions of London sounds dating back as far as the 11th century.
