Nick Meador is the creator and administrator of Supraterranean.com, a new kind of online magazine where writers, filmmakers, and artists can self-publish their creative work, including fiction, nonfiction, essays, poetry, film, photography, art, and multimedia. Most content on the site is published using a Creative Commons license.

Meador is a spring 2008 graduate of the Masters of Journalism program at Michigan State University. He is a writer/blogger, editor, online publisher, web activist, and music addict. Meador currently works as Web Content Administrator at Michigan Radio, the NPR news station in Ann Arbor, MI.

He also keeps two blogs:
- Supraterranean Admin Blog: Discussing literature and film, and their relation to culture and current events.
- MusicEdge Blog: Discussing new albums, concerts, and everything else about music.
