Welcome to the MOU and Polices Summary Page!
As Creative Commons works to [happy verb] our [friendly term], we want to ensure that our Project Leads and Affiliates are part of the process. To this end, we invite you to read the current drafts of our new Memorandum of Understanding and policies and we encourage you to leave feedback.

Memorandum of Understanding (MOU)
Key Points:
- Modularization of provisions
- Additional clarity of responsibilities for both CC and Affiliates
- Provides for license porting and translation of CC0
- Reporting structure for better collaboration and feedback
- Open communication channels
Key Points:
- Allows CC jurisdictions to manage and run their own websites, Facebook pages, Twitter ids and other internet services in order to better engage with their communities
- Clarifies who is responsible for which aspects of these services
- Provides detailed information for domain name registrations
- Will have an accompanying non-lawyer information sheet, breaking down the provisions in the policy for the people who actually set-up and maintain the internet services
