Creative Commons was born December 2002, and to celebrate we're inviting the CC Community worldwide to join the party!

To celebrate six exceptional years for Creative Commons and to link the Open Culture, Free Speech, and Intentional Communities movements, Planning for Sustainable Communities is hosting a birthday bash in Berkeley!

The event will be held on Thursday, December 18th, 2008, from 4pm - 8pm at our new Shared Living Cohousing/Coworking Green Resource Center (2105 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Berkeley) (ending just in time to go to the San Francisco party starting at 9).

Your hosts are Raines Cohen and Betsy Morris, cohousing and coworking community organizers. We're working on programming the event, having speakers. finding music, etc. We will be set up to record your Creative Commons stories and performances. It will cap off a day of #WorkAtJelly coworking.

Donations will be welcome at the door, but please RSVP (link coming shortly) so we know you're coming.

We hope you'll join us for a relaxing evening reception celebrating free culture, free speech, and the future of Creative Commons! Everyone is welcome, but space is limited - so bring friends and arrive early!
