The Internet Second Language Collective is a community of language teachers from around the globe who share their home-made worksheets on the free-to-use platform at www.islcollective.com (currently in Beta). It's for all language teachers, whether teaching in schools or doing one-on-one private tutoring. Membership is entirely open and free of charge.
Teachers can download and save any of the ready-made, printable worksheets uploaded by others in doc format for the teaching of English (and soon German) as a second language. Any of the materials are downloadable free of charge, and without having to contribute one's own worksheets in return.
Members are encouraged to share their own teaching materials with fellow teachers by uploading them under their profile. Currently we can only handle Microsoft Word documents (doc format), but plan to include other formats (e.g. ppt and pdf) in the near future.
The website also fosters interacting between language teachers, allowing them to friend each other, write messages on member's walls, send private emails and comment on each other's worksheets.
