The translation process was initiated by a group of CC Korea members as a collaborative project in 2017 and was on hold before being resumed in late 2018. A draft translation of the suite was created by Soohyun Pae, professional translator and former CC Asia Pacific Regional Coordinator, and then reviewed by Jay Yoon, the Public Lead of CC Korea who is a practicing lawyer. The final draft for review was submitted to CC HQ on Feb 8, 2019. With the support of the Korea Copyright Commission, the public comment period was held for one month from Apr 1 to Apr 30, 2019.
