thanks!

For helping keep this wiki well trimmed. Mike Linksvayer 03:40, 31 May 2009 (UTC)

You are welcome. Glad to do it. JesseWeinstein 06:31, 1 June 2009 (UTC)

I second the THANKS! Your help is really appreciated. Thank you for notifying me about the wayward entries and the pages slotted for deletion. --Michelle Thorne 15:43, 18 June 2009 (UTC)

It's nice to be appreciated. ;-) JesseWeinstein 19:39, 18 June 2009 (UTC)

Jesse, I have temporarily blocked account creation on the wiki and re-enabled the SpamBlacklist extension. Thanks again for your help. nkinkade 15:53, 8 July 2009 (UTC)

Great, thanks. I've removed the TLD blocking that was causing the complaints, and the no-new-users policy seems to have stopped the spam (finally). Now there's the job of deleting all ~150 spam pages that were added... JesseWeinstein 17:27, 8 July 2009 (UTC)

Please delete

Hi Jesse, could you please delete File:Pt-Casestudies-splash.png and File:Pt Casestudies-splash.png? Thanks. Hamilton Abreu 02:37, 20 October 2010 (UTC)

Done, thanks for asking. JesseWeinstein 03:30, 20 October 2010 (UTC)
You know, you can upload new images on top of existing ones... JesseWeinstein 03:33, 20 October 2010 (UTC)
The issue is with the page name, the file is always the same. MediaWiki does not allow the name of the file description page to contain a colon (:) after the language code. So I can't create File:Pt:Casos de estudo.png, which is what this mess is all about. Hamilton Abreu 22:48, 20 October 2010 (UTC)
Edited to remove the file links above, so that they won't be red listed in Special:WantedPages. Hamilton Abreu 23:28, 15 November 2010 (UTC)

Are you around?

Hi Jesse, have you noticed the amount of spam in the wiki of late? Hamilton Abreu 06:53, 6 February 2011 (UTC)

I wasn't. I'll look things over now and see what I can do. JesseWeinstein 23:12, 14 March 2011 (UTC)
Meanwhile, Nat gave me admin rights and I've been addressing the spam. I added wikipedia to the black list and it stopped. However, spam bots continue creating users, so I guess the owners haven't yet realised that the spam edits are being blocked. Anyway, have a look at what was done as feel free to undo any incorrect actions. -- Hamilton Abreu 23:22, 14 March 2011 (UTC)
