Timothy Vollmer (tim AT creativecommons.org) is a Business Development Assistant for Creative Commons. Timothy is also a graduate student in the School of Information at the University of Michigan, focusing on information and technology policy. He is a research investigator for Michigan's Open CourseWare initiative. Timothy studied sociology and legal studies at the University of Wisconsin – Madison, where he also helped establish a farm-to-table food collective and catering business, which supports local farmers, sustainable agriculture and community food issues. Timothy was a Creative Commons Community + Media Development Intern during Summer 2007.
