The Creative Commons Slovakia license suite is available in an official translation of the version 4.0. You can also choose the international licenses. More information is available here.

Creative Commons is currently working with The Law Faculty of Trnava University in Trnava and The Society for Open Information Technologies.

On 1 March 2017, the Slovak Government approved an Action plan of open governance for 2017 - 2019. The Action plan seeks for a proper implementation of open and free licenses such as Creative Commons by government agencies and entities.

Priorities for 2018:

- Cooperation in the field of OER (open education resources).

- Supporting use of CC in relevant independent cultural, educational and other communities.

- Organizing workshops and presentations and cooperating with both public and private bodies.

- Providing on and offline support as well as academic research into legal questions raised by the use of the Creative Commons Licenses.

- Analyzing and research of CC license use in Slovak Republic.
