This is a page to collect what is the current status of the Operating System search engines which utilize interesting indexing and metadata in order to find what people want on their computers. Please help us in surveying the landscape.
We are a students group with IBM ISL working on EXT3 filesystem and working on the topic of filesystem optimization
the basic idea is embedding the inode in the directory entry.....
