We have compiled data on existing projects, including areas of focus, contact info, licensing policies, and other relevant info, and we have released all of these data in ODEPO, an interactive database built on Semantic MediaWiki technology that allows others to find and sort projects of interest. People can also add their own projects or other projects they are aware of. Ideally, this archive and the associated tools of engagement will facilitate collaboration and synergy among the various open education projects. We will also be tracking the evolution of this space over time to produce regular “state of the movement” reports for the community. Our first report was released mid-December (2009) to The William and Flora Hewlett Foundation, "What status for “open”? An examination of the licensing policies of open educational organizations and projects.” (See ccLearn Reports.
