Add external by simply tying in the URL, like this: http://www.flickr.com. If you want to replace an ugly URL with pretty text, simply insert a space after the URL, followed by the text you wish to display. Enclose the URL and replacement text in a set of single brackets, like this: <nowiki> [http://www.flickr.com Flickr]</nowiki>. This wiki uses the same software (http://mediawiki.org) as Wikipedia.

Extreme basics

External links

Add external by simply typing in the URL, like this: http://www.flickr.com. If you want to replace an ugly URL with pretty text, simply insert a space after the URL, followed by the text you wish to display. Enclose the URL and replacement text in a set of single brackets, like this: [http://www.flickr.com Flickr]. The resulting link will now look like this to the user: Flickr.

Internal links

Link to another page of the wiki by enclosing that page name in double brackets. For example, inputting [[Documentation]] will produce a link to the Documentation page for the cc wiki, and will look like this: Documentation.

Italic text

Italicize text by enclosing the desired text in 2 single quotation marks. For example, ''Welcome to this rad wiki'' produces Welcome to this rad wiki.

Bold text

Bold text by enclosing the desired test in 3 single quotation marks. For example, '''Welcome to this rad wiki''' produces Welcome to this rad wiki.

Bullets

Add bullet points by entering an asterisk (*) at the beginning of a line of text. Create a child of a bullet by adding another asterisk to the corresponding line (**). Examples:

  • Bullet point number one
    • sub bullet point
