Celebrating the Spirit of Sharing
CC Salon is an informal gathering of people who are interested in Creative Commons, copyright, Free Culture, Open Source, Art, Media, and Music, and who would like to get to know people with the same interests.
Where: The Camp, 14, Swarnambiga Nagar, Virugambakkam, Chennai -92.
When: Saturday, 9th February, 2008 at 4:00 PM
Why: To connect with and build a community of artists, developers, musicians, film makers and who are working with or would like to know more about Creative Commons licenses, standards, and technology.
What: Discussion on Creative Commons, Music performance by artists, Networking, Games (table tennis, XBox), Dinner & Alcohol.
Get: This is a non-profit event. Everyone donates Rs.100 towards meeting expenses (snacks, dinner etc). It would be great if each of us can bring along some alcohol.
Help: We'd need help in designing a logo for Chennai CC Salon. Kindly help blog about it and spread the word around.
