CC Licensed books for children. —
We have been working with the Nepal wing of the One Laptop Per Child project and the Open Learning Exchange, Nepal had written to us asking if we could provide content for their project to use on their low cost laptops being distributed for children's use, in their eBook library and to translated into Neplai for local use.
These have been licensed under a Attribution-Noncommercial-Share Alike 2.5 India Creative Commons License:
To put a book in every child's hand and to bring about a reading revolution we believe that there is a net increase in the available reading content that needs to be effected and we are using CC licenses for this purpose.
What is the impact of this CC-enabled project or resource? Specifically, what has the license enabled that otherwise would not exist? Provide statistics or other data if possible.
Delete the above questions and add text here.
Provide any technical details of the implementation here
