Overview

Online, individualized high school learning fully leveraging OER. The school only uses openly licensed courses and open textbooks.

License Usage

Please specify the license adopted. How is the license applied? Can you provide any available statistics? What has been the author or organization's experience with Creative Commons licenses so far – what have been the benefits and lessons learned?

Delete the above questions and add text here.

Motivations

How did the author or organization first hear about Creative Commons? Why did they choose to license under Creative Commons? Which license did they select and why? Any other issues you may have come across/comments you’d like to make.

Impact

Cost savings: students use fully online OER so the school does not need to buy expensive print commercial textbooks or locked down, time-bombed publisher eBooks. The OER the Open High School builds is also shared under a CC BY license, so Open High School of Utah teachers and any other teacher can use and re-purpose content.

Open niche: leveraging fully online OER allows for robust, data driven performance analytics.
