Qedoc does two main things: it provides special software for creating, sharing, and playing back educational modules; and it provides a repository of modules which others have created. As of April 2009, the repository had over 1000 modules with about 4000 activities and 65000 questions, covering all levels of education from primary to tertiary and all subjects. Creative Commons licencing was a foundational part of the original Qedoc concept.
