Timothy Vollmer is an IT Policy Analyst for the American Library Association Office for Information Technology Policy (OITP) in Washington, DC.

Timothy was a Business Development Assistant for Creative Commons from September 2007 - May 2008. Timothy is a graduate of the University of Michigan School of Information where he focused on information and technology policy. He was also a research investigator for the Open.Michigan initiative. Timothy studied sociology and legal studies at the University of Wisconsin – Madison, where he also helped establish a farm-to-table food collective and catering business, which supports local farmers, sustainable agriculture and community food issues. Timothy was a Creative Commons Community + Media Development Intern during Summer 2007.
