License Discussion

Version 4.0

The public discussion process for the common Portuguese translation of the BY-NC-SA 4.0 license draft is now opened.

If you have comments about the licenses, whether in regards to legal, linguistic or usability issues, please feel welcome to use the wiki’s discussion page or the CC Portugal mailing list to share your thoughts.

Version 3.0

The public discussion process for the Portuguese adaptation of the BY-NC-SA 3.0 license draft is now finished, and the full Portuguese 3.0 licence suite has been launched.

Many thanks to all who contributed to the localization of the license suite, namely to Teresa Nobre, who provided for the legal translation and adaptation of the version 3.0 license suite.

Creative Commons worked closely with FCEE-Católica and INTELI to create Portugal jurisdiction-specific licenses from the Unported Creative Commons licenses.

For those interested in the porting process, both Portuguese and English versions of the draft BY-NC-SA 3.0 license are available, as is a summary of the substantial changes proposed by the legal team to port the licenses to Portuguese copyright law.
