PICNIC is a cross-discipline platform for creative conversation and collaboration. It's a unique festival featuring a strategic conference, complimented by hands-on workshops and matchmaking sessions. Among these will be a presentation of Open Images -- a joint project of the Institute for Sound and Vison and Knowledgeland -- that makes availabe parts of the the collection of Sound and Vision under a free Creative Commons license. The Workshop will take place at PICNIC '09 and is open to all Conference and Festival attendees.
