|description=We would like to propose providing a service to the Creative Commons on a non profit basis to promote global creativity and eduction via the sharing of information between individuals, non-profits, government agencies and corporations. We would like to provide a collaborative space for individuals to log into with connections to major document and content repositories and cloud based systems that provides a central location for content from various organizations with automated publishing, sharing and harmonization of versions across all the interconnected systems. This project would consist of looking at the pain points of retrieving and uploading of content between various systems in use between parties involved in CC activities, modifications to adapt OneFileEverywhere to those needs and the setup and maintenance of the system.
The end result should be a seamless, automatic way to have contributing or consuming organizations to publish or retrieve the correct versions of files from within their own existing systems and a single cloud based interface from which individuals can access, review, edit and publish them.
|output=The result will be a system that provides a user interface which is available on the Internet and runs in a browser which presents content files for individuals to view, review, edit and publish on a project basis. Organizations can also connect "agent sw" to their own document/content repositories or systems such as Documentum, MS SharePoint, etc. which will enable organizations to seamlessly publish content from a variety of different systems into one central environment and also receive content, edits and updates from the various project participants back into their internal systems. This will reduce the hassle of publishing from enterprise applications to CC and for individuals or other organizations to contribute back in a controlled, automated and manageable way.
|community=We are targeting contributors, working in large organizations to contribute content to CC and to allow CC content to be consumed by larger organizations. This will enable organizations to easily setup consumption or production of content to and from CC. It will reduce the need for organizations to setup of web portals, training of users on various system portals, upload and download of content to and from various portals used in oprganizations, and reduce the need for integrations to be written to various enterprise systems in universities, corporations, governments and agencies.
|community relationship=We are specialists in enterprise document and content management and collaboration systems and have created OneFileEverywhere to solve this problem in industry. We have extensive experience in enterprise content management, web application development and integration including the University of Calgary and BP Canada.
|measurement=The metrics we will monitor and manage is the ease in which:

- Organizations can adapt to CC to contribute or consume content
- Individuals can interact with CC to receive or contribute content
- Volumes and types of content
- Measure of savings in content distribution per project
- Perceived value and impact of content creation and use
|participants=We would like to be introduced, via CC to a limited number of representative organizations and a small initial group of individual contributors and consumers for a pilot project.
|impact=Our project will make it easier, faster and less expensive for organizations to publish and or consume CC content. It will also help provide a single point of collection of content from various systems and a user interface for individuals.
|tech needs=Our technology is a Java based web development platform with plugins/connectors to enterprise applications and a collaboration user interface. We bring senior sw development, enterprise document and content management expertise, web development and integration expertise to the project.
|challenges=One can expect to find unusual enterprise applications which need special attention for plugins, lacks of budgeting for projects, internal IT staff resistance to change and, since this is a new concept, difficulty in explaining the value proposition. This can be overcome with a small scale win-win-win strategy where small pilot projects can be achieved with interested stakeholders. The early wins can create momentum and awareness.
|sustainability=We would like to invite organizations, after the pilot, to continue funding the projects for infrastructure and resources on a cost plus basis with open books.
|scalability=This project and the technology is completely scalable across all enterprise systems, localities and projects.
|resource needs=We would like to have administrative and project support from CC as well as liaiason and perhaps infrastructure support as well. We will need introductions to participating pilot organizations and or individuals and CC executive support.
