Hello all,

Creative Commons in San Francisco is going to throw a party locally on the 4th birthday of the organization. The event is going to be FRIDAY, DECEMBER 15 from 9 PM - 2 AM. CC's actual b-day is DEC 16, hence why we are going extra late to how a big b-day countdown.

Thus, we are hoping to rally the CC affiliates to also have a party on DEC 15 in the way that seems fitting to your locale. Some of you might want to have a big party like we are going to have and others might want to setup a meeting at a restaurant or bar.

For this first-time celebration we have decided to see how much interest there is, get many synchronized parties around the world, and leave as much of a digital trail as possible of our activities on the web.

So, please blog about this on your sites, record tons of media (photo to flickr, video to revver, etc) and post them to various sites with the tag ccbday, your city tag, and your affiliate tag (and any other identifying tags).

Look forward to hearing from affiliates as to participation and additions to the aforementioned wiki page.
