Deborah: Open Source Art Museum in SL

I'm a graduate student at Brown University working on a New Media project for our Open Source Culture class taught by Mark Tribe. My collaborators and I hope to build an open source art museum in SL during the month of April. We intend for the museum building, art, and all related materials to be open source: any SL resident can manipulate both the space and contents of the museum. We will seed the museum with open source-related art work and then open it to the public to visit and transform.

We're hoping that someone will donate the land for the museum, either temporarily (4-6 weeks) or on a long-term basis. I've come to the creative commons site to find out how we might get involved with cc in this project and if cc might provide us with land.

I'll update this page with information about the project as it progresses.
