Please be as specific as possible. If only one panel or presentation at a conference is relevant, then select panel or presentation rather than the conference option. However, if the conference has multiple relevant panels or presentations, select the conference option to encompass them all. As a general rule: the more specific you can get, the better.
What is the Content Building option?
Content Building consists of wiki jams and other collaborative efforts to building openly-licensed content. For instance, if you have an idea for a community event to build a textbook, list it in our database as Content Building to alert others who may be interested in helping.
What is the Salon option?
CC Salons are global events focused on building a community of artists and developers around Creative Commons licenses, standards, and technology. The first event took place in San Francisco in 2006 with intention for the idea to replicate in other locations internationally. Since then salons have sprung up in 15 different cities around the world.
The property EventType is referenced in the Event form.
