Este evento es el lanzamiento de “Buenas Prácticas y Políticas Editoriales Open Access para Publicaciones Académicas Latinoamericanas”, estudio hecho por ONG Derechos Digitales (Chile) con el apoyo de la Fundación Karisma (Colombia). El proyecto cuenta con el financiamiento del Fondo Regional para la Innovación Digital en América Latina y el Caribe (FRIDA) y Catalyst Grants de Creative Commons), y pronto tendrá una web exclusiva y otras presentaciones.

Thanks to FRIDA’S funding (Regional Fund for digital innovation in Latin America) Chile’s NGO Derechos Digitales together with Fundación Karisma's support (Colombia), were able to conduct the project stated above which studied the production of online academic journals in Latin America.

We are eager to announce that we are open to share our findings. Hence, we welcome editors and members of academic editorials which share an interest in this area of expertise, to join us in the presentation. This way we can all share and learn from our experiences and thus improve our findings.
